Admission Bestie respects your privacy rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). This page explains your rights regarding your personal information and how to exercise them.
Your Right to Know
You have the right to request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources from which we collected it, the business purpose for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
The personal information we collect may include:

- Educational preferences and area of interest
- Internet activity information such as browsing history on our site

Your Right to Delete

As a lead generation service, Admission Bestie shares your information with partner schools and educational institutions so they may contact you about programs matching your interests. This may constitute a "sale" under the CCPA.
You have the right to opt out of this sale of your personal information. If you opt out, we will no longer share your information with partner schools for marketing or recruitment purposes going forward.
Your Right to Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. We will not deny you services, charge you different prices, or provide a different quality of service because you exercised your privacy rights.
How to Submit a Request
To exercise any of the rights described above, please submit a request using one of the following methods:

Verification Process
To protect your privacy, we must verify your identity before fulfilling your request. When you submit a request, we will ask you to provide information that matches what we have on file, such as your name and email address. We may request additional information if we are unable to verify your identity with the information provided.
We will respond to verifiable consumer requests within 45 days of receipt. If we need additional time, we will notify you of the extension and the reason for it. The maximum total response time is 90 days.
Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. If you use an authorized agent, we may require proof that the agent is authorized to act on your behalf, as well as verification of your own identity.
Changes to This Notice
We may update this notice from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
